Einstein on the Importance of Imagination

“When I examine myself and my methods of thought, I come close to the conclusion that the gift of imagination has meant more to me than any talent for absorbing absolute knowledge“.

Imagination is more important than knowledge”

Albert Einstein-(Calaprice, 2000, 10)

Einstein is truly a gem of humanity, he has countless quotes that have encouraged and established my appreciation of the human imagination and its un-obvious yet immense value and power. Words like these are inspiring, coming from someone who has experienced and witnessed some of the deepest fundamentals of our existence

According to Psychology Today Online,

Einstein’s friend Alexander Mozskowski says “Einstein recognized an unexplainable connection between music and his science, and notes that his [Einstein’s] mentor Ernst Mach had indicated that music and the aural experience were the organ to describe space

(Mueller, 1967, 171)

He continually described solving his problems with images, and putting the words to it later.

How would his perspectives be enhanced by technology and modern issues?

Heres a cool link that tells some more about Einstein’s persona from Psychology Today.
